You can set limits on the number of minutes used for calls (except to/from 911 and trusted contacts) for each billing cycle. Learn more:

Verizon Family - Set Minute Limits
- From the Verizon Family Guardian app, tap the Family Profiles tab.
- Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
- From the Parental Controls section, tap Restrict usage.
Tap Call limits.
This option is unavailable for lines on the justkids plan or Android tablets.Enter the minutes limit.
Once the limit is reached, placing and receiving calls is restricted (except to/from 911 and trusted contacts) until the next billing cycle.Your Dependent receives a free text alert when they're within 15 minutes of the limit; You receive an alert once they've reached the limit.If your Dependent calls 911, call limits are suspended and you need to restart restrictions via the Verizon Family app.- Tap Save.
