Map/Location

View the general location of a family member on a map.

• Verizon Family - Locate a Family Member

  • From the Verizon Family Guardian or companion app, tap the Home tab then tap on the map.

    Device location begins automatically then displays on the map with family members clustered in their general locations.

  • To see the specific location of a particular family member, select them in the menu below.

    This step only applies when using the parent app. If using the companion app, skip to the next step.

  • View the current location.

    If available, tap the Refresh icon in the lower-right to update.

  • If available, view location history below the map.

    Tap an individual result to view more details.
• Verizon Family - Send Location Check-In From Dependent's Device
  • From the Verizon Family Companion app on the Dependent's device, select the Home tab.
  • Tap Check-in.
• Verizon Family - Request Pickup
  • 1. From the Dependent's smartphone, open the Verizon Family Companion app.
    2. From the Dependent Dashboard, tap Pick me up.
    3. Drag the pin to the desired pickup location then tap Continue.

    4. Select the family member then tap Send request.

       A notification is sent to the family member to request a pickup.
