Contacts – Verizon Family

Set up and view your dependent's contacts:

Trusted contacts - People you want your dependent to be able to call and text at all times.
Top contacts - Contacts your dependent communicates with most frequently.
Add contacts to a watch list and get notified about texts or calls with this contact.
- Verizon Family - Add or Remove a Blocked Call or Contact
  - From the Verizon Family Guardian app, tap the Family Profiles tab.
  - Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
  - From the 'Parental Controls' section, tap Manage contacts.
  - Tap Blocked contacts.
    
    This option is unavailable for lines on the justkids plan.
  - Perform any of the following:
    To add a number:
    
    Tap Add new blocked number.
    
    Enter the 10-digit number then tap Save.
    
    To remove a number, tap the Delete icon located to the right of the corresponding number.
    
    To block incoming private and restricted text and calls, tap the switch to turn on or off.
- Verizon Family - Add or Remove a Trusted Contact
  - From the Verizon Family Guardian app, tap the Family Profiles tab.
  - Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
  - From the Parental controls section, tap Manage contacts.
  - Tap Trusted contacts.
  - Perform any of the following:
    - To add a number:
      
      Tap Add new trusted number.
      
      Enter the 10-digit number then tap Save.
    - To remove a number:
      
      Tap the Delete icon located to the right of the corresponding number.
      
      To confirm, tap Delete.
- Verizon Family - Add or Remove a Contact to / from the Watchlist
  - From the Verizon Family Guardian app, tap the Family Profiles tab.
  - Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
  - From the Parental Controls section, tap Manage contacts.
  - Tap Watchlist contacts.
  - Perform one of the following:
    - To add to the watchlist:
      
      Tap Add new watchlist number.
      
      Enter the phone number to add.
      
      Tap Save.
    - To remove from the watchlist, tap the Delete icon next to the number you want to remove.

Note:

Blocking contacts isn't available for lines on the Just Kids plan.* All numbers are blocked except for their trusted contacts.
Over the Top (OTT) data (e.g., iMessage®) must be managed directly on your dependent's phone. Activity from third-party messaging and calling apps will not be included in call and text activity.
Blocking contacts isn't available for Verizon connected tablets on the Verizon Family account. These devices can't make or receive calls or text messages.
